The port-city of Algiers is the capital and largest city of Algeria. The Port of Algiers is located about half-way between the Port of Dellys to the east and the Port of Cherchell to the west on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. it is operated by state-owned Entreprise Portuaire d’Alger.
