Augusta

Augusta is a seaport in Eastern Sicily, Italy. It is included in the European Union’s TEN-T core transport network as a strategic port for its central position along the routes of international traffic. It is the largest natural port in the lower Mediterranean where within it there is an important industrial pole with an oil and commercial port, a military base and a port with two docks. It is managed by Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare di Sicilia Orientale (AdSP – Eastern Sicilian Sea Port Authority).
