Castellón

The Port of Castellón occupies a strategic location, making it the gateway to the Mediterranean, Africa, the Middle East and the Black Sea, with many regular services to these destinations. Other services connect it to more than 101 countries around the globe. Its traffic is diverse and the port is constantly striving to improve its sustainability and competitiveness. The development of a logistics platform spanning more than 4 million square metres and the construction of a nearby intermodal station make this one of Spain’s most attractive ports for investors. the port is managed by Autoridad Portuaria de Castelló (APC – Port Authority of Castellon). State ports are managed by Puertos del Estado which executes port policy of the government; made up of 28 port authorities that manage the 46 ports.
