Seville
Located in Southern Spain, the Port of Seville is Spain’s only inland port. A strategic hub for the EU, this port is fully multimodal with maritime, rail and road links, as well as boasting a large area for logistics and industrial operations. It has 5 port terminals and 3 public quays, more than 4,000 metres of berthing line and warehouses spanning 1 million m2, in addition to Andalusia’s first ZAL (logistics area), a free zone and a cruise liner terminal in the city centre. It is managed by Autoridad Portuaria de Sevilla (APS – Port Authority of Seville). State ports are managed by Puertos del Estado which executes port policy of the government; made up of 28 port authorities that manage the 46 ports.
