Trieste
Trieste is a seaport in Northeast Italy on the Northern Adriatic Sea. Located in the heart of Europe, at the meeting point between the maritime routes and the European, Adriatic-Baltic and Mediterranean corridors, the port is an international hub for land-sea interchange flows affecting markets in Central and Eastern Europe. It is part of a well-developed intermodal transport network reaching most of Central and Northern Europe. The port is managed by Autorita’ di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Orientale (AdSP – Eastern Adriatic Sea Port Authority).
