Trieste, Italy (Ports Europe) September 12, 2018 – Italy will be the “Guest Country of Honor” at the 17th Western China International Fair (WCIF) which will take place in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, September 20-24, 2018. The Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia (Fvg) will be sending a delegation to the event. One theme of the event will be the Chinese government’s Belt and Road Initiative (New Silk Road) which seeks to promote development through transport links running eastward and westward, across land and over sea.
