Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Ports Europe) January 8, 2024 – Starting this month, Kombiverkehr KG has improved its intermodal services with Trieste, Turkey and Greece. Kombiverkehr is a logistics service provider that develops, organises and markets a Europe-wide network for rail-road combined transport.
The company has increased the departure frequency on the Munich-Trieste v.v. route from three to five weekly round trips. The Trieste terminal is operated by Samer Seaports & Terminals of the Samer Group.
From the port of Trieste, the port terminals of Pendik, Mersin and Cesme in Turkey, in addition to Patras in Greece, can be reached by ferry.
