Piraeus, Greece (Ports Europe) April 18, 2023 – Piraeus Container Terminal S.A. (PCT) has published containers (TEU) throughput for Q1 2023. PCT is owned by China’s COSCO Shipping Ports Limited.
In 2023, January and February both reported lower numbers than in 2022. However, a +12.1% year-on-year increase in March meant that PCT reported 1.051 million TEU in Q1 2023, down -1.5% on the same period of 2022.
In terms of quarterly figures, Q1 2023 is down -4.3% on 2022, and down -5.8% on 2021.
