Moscow, Russia (Ports Europe) July 23, 2024 – Global Ports has reported improved container handling in Q2 2024. Total container throughput was 1.33 million containers (TEU), up +11.8% year-on-year and 3.4% quarter-on-quarter. In January-June 2024, total container throughput was 2.63 million, up +14.6% year-on-year. This reached levels of the record 2021 year. The Baltic basin outperformed the market significantly….
